A Typology of Approaches to Facilitator Education by Glyn Thomas. If you have access to a research library in your area (or know someone that does), you can request this article from them. If you are an AEE Member, you can access the article from their Journal. It's a wonderful guide for facilitator trainers - it helps to develop a progression of training materials that will meet the trainees where they are in their learning. It also helps the more experienced facilitators self-assess in order to see the different levels of facilitation that are possible and where they can best be used with particular groups.
