Kristina Book - [email protected] Chris Cavert - [email protected] I got my start at Cherry Creek High School Adventure Program. You can find out some information at http://www.cchsadventure.com To find out more about the US Air Force Academy (www.usafa.edu) and what I do there check out Center for Character and Leadership Development (www.usafa.edu/character/). We have our annual National Character and Leadership Symposium (NCLS) coming up and we are going Virtual and will take place on February 25-26, 2021. The theme for 2021 is Warrior Ethos as Airmen and Citizens. Warrior ethos is the embodiment of the warrior spirit: tough mindedness, tireless motivation, an unceasing vigilance, a willingness to sacrifice one’s life for the country, if necessary, and a commitment to be the world’s premier air, space and cyberspace force. You can find more information about NCLS HERE You can also follow CCLD through our social media platforms: CCLD Twitter: @USAFA_CCLD CCLD Instagram: @USAFA_CCLD, USAFA Facebook For both networking, continuing education, and widening your own lense of whats possible I highly recommend you attend a conference or two each year, if you can. My favorite conferences that have helped me in the industry are: Association for Challenge Course Technology (link) Association of Experiential Education (link) National Challenge Course Practitioners Symposium (link) University Programs with Adventure Education Focus
